Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cool vintage triple metal cone atomic table lamp. We were told it is Gerald Thurston, but it is not signed or marked in any way that we've been able to detect.

Each of the shades is a different color - one black, one blue and one red. The shades are able to be turned in an assortment of varying configurations at their attachment points.

M easurements: The lamp stands approx. 28.25 tall (from the bottom of the base to its highest point).

The round metal base measures approx. Each of the three shades measures approx. 8 long, with an opening of approx. Condition: Overall the lamp is in good condition, but it does have some cosmetic stuff that's worth mentioning. First off, the lamp was repainted at one point in time.

We have no idea what's doing under the current color scheme. The black and blue shades appear very smooth, while the red shade shows some mild surface texture underneath the paint (see photos). Doesn't particularly detract, but being mentioned for accuracy. The brass accents atop the metal shades, as well as on the ring towards the bottom of the base, show some signs of discoloration and tarnishing in spots (again, see photos). The insides of the shades shows some mild discoloration spots from age. The shades all pivot and turn at their attachment points as they should - there's no problem there. There are two different ways to light the sockets. Towards the bottom of the base there is an on/off push switch which allows the lamp to turn on and off. Also, atop each of the shades, there is an individual rotary knob which is used to control each of the individual sockets. The black and blue ones work, while the red ones appears to be loose, and that socket has to be lit by turning the bulb. Most likely a very simple fix - we'll leave that up to the purchaser to handle. The electrical wiring is good and looks to be original - no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc.

Before long-term use, we only strongly recommend having a licensed professional check the wiring for any problems. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition as it is. Please ask them and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.
