Nice Vintage 50s 60s Biomorphic Abstract Ceramic Lamp Mid Century Modern Atomic
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a unique vintage ceramic table lamp with double-sided raised abstract / biomorphic shapes. The ceramic portion of the base rests atop a small square wood base, which is support by four (4) small gold painted atomic ball feet. There is also a slightly larger atomic ball accent between the top of the ceramic base and the light socket. The socket has a standard rotary turn knob switch which is used to turn the lamp on/off. There are no signatures or maker's marks present. Also, there is no shade present with this lamp - that'll be left up to the winning purchaser to provide on their own. The ceramic portion of the base measures 15" tall x 5" wide x 5 deep. Each of the four small gold atomic ball feet measures approx. Condition: The lamp is in excellent shape - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc.
It could benefit from a gentle cleaning, but is otherwise, good to go! Display exceptionally well, and is in fully-functioning, working order. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape. We would still strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use as the lamp is vintage, just to be safe.
