FANTASTIC MidCentury Space Age Lamp

Offering a WONDERFUL Mid-Century space age/atomic flying saucer lamp, ca. Will make you smile every time you look at this delightful lamp. I acquired this lamp in Sacramento, Ca in the late 1970s... There was a guy in Sacramento in the 50's and 60's whose name I've never been able to find out.. Including a star burst ceiling fixture..... Everyone of his designs is so finely imagined and crafted. This charming table lamp is made primarily of copper with minor brass fittings. It has a central semi clear'vaseline green' round globe with a single candelabra base light bulb. The spiral arm that lifts the'flying saucer' springs from a large round copper base disc...
All of the elements are so well combined to create such a delightful product! The central globe is about 6" in diameter; the round base disc is 10" in diameter and overall the fixture stands about 15 tall...... The'saucer' is mounted on a swivel element so that you can position it at differing angles.......
