Vintage, Mid-century Modern design, Taylorstone, 48 piece "Cathay" collection dinnerware. Taylor, Smith & Taylor Company (TS&T) which was in operation from 1900 until 1981 in Chester, West Virginia. This classic MCM 48-piece set features a. Atomic pattern with a g. Reen & blue geometrical motif border with a popular futuristic space-age look.

The set is marked on most pieces. Is composed of the following. 6 Dinner plates -- 10-1/2" in diameter (3 w/small outer edge chips) 9 Cereal bowls -- 7-3/4" in diameter. (1 w/small outer edge chip).

1 Soup Bowls -- 9-1/2 in diameter. 11 Bread and Butter dishes -- 6-3/4 in diameter. (2 w/small outer edge chips). 7 Coffee/Tea cups -- 3-1/2" in diameter 12 Saucers -- 6-1/8" in diameter. 1 Sugar bowl with wooden lid.

Long (minus lid) 1 Creamer -- 4" high to bottom of spout, 2-3/4" wide The set presents well and is in good vintage as-found condition, with mild surface wear, light discoloration, and patina commensurate with age and use. Several pieces have small chips along rims (please see list in description).
